It is Jaime. It's become an annual ritual that my youngest daughter makes it with a little help from my husband. She's just 11 (Junior bake-off here she comes!)
It is a very rich fruit cake. We feed it a little brandy each week and keep it wrapped in foil in an airtight container. Then just before Christmas we top it with marzipan and royal icing and decorate. Traditionally brought out Christmas Day at tea time but no one has any room for it!
